I never imagined that one day I would wake up and find my Instagram account @consultoradeimagen completely disabled — without any warning, without any explanation, and without any chance to prepare.
For the past few years, my Instagram profile wasn’t just a page. It was my digital workspace, a place where I shared styling tips, personal branding advice, and transformations that helped hundreds of people feel more confident about themselves. Through @consultoradeimagen, I built a loyal audience, worked with amazing clients, and grew a small consulting business from the ground up.
But then, everything was gone in a second.
One morning, I opened the app to check messages from a few new clients, and instead of my feed, I saw a message that said:
“Your account has been disabled for violating Instagram’s terms.”
That’s it. No detailed explanation. No warning. Just a message and a link to “learn more,” which led me to a generic help page.
I was shocked. I knew I hadn’t violated any rules. I don’t post anything controversial or offensive. My content is about fashion, image consulting, body language tips, and professional presence — nothing that should trigger a ban. Still, I followed the appeal process, submitted the required forms, and uploaded my ID. I waited, hoping for a quick response. Days passed. Then weeks. All I received were automated emails saying the decision was final.
I was devastated.
That account held years of work — before-and-after transformations, client testimonials, collaborations, and a connection with over 25,000 followers. It wasn’t just a number. It was trust and time. Losing it all was not only emotionally draining, but also hurt my business financially.
I started researching and found that I wasn’t alone. Many small business owners, especially consultants and creators like me, have faced the same issue: accounts getting disabled for no clear reason, and no proper support to help recover them.
Eventually, I came across AccountJustice, where people can share their stories and raise awareness about unfair account suspensions. That’s why I’m sharing mine — because I want Instagram and Meta to know that their system isn’t working. It’s affecting real people with real businesses.
If you’re reading this and going through something similar, know that you’re not alone. Don’t stay silent. Share your story. Ask for help. Demand better support and accountability.
And if someone from Instagram or Meta sees this — please review cases like mine with real human attention. Accounts like @consultoradeimagen aren’t spam — they’re businesses built with love, hard work, and the goal of helping others.
I’m still hopeful my account will be restored, and I won’t stop fighting for it.
